Dog Training services and fees

Every training plan begins with an evaluation – $300.00 flat fee.

In-Home Training - $150 per hour in your home.

We will come to your home and begin teaching you and your dog all the essential skills to coexist peacefully and happily in your home environment. You are encouraged to video the training session and ask any questions at any time. We will give you a plan of training homework that works well for your family dynamics and schedules. You must do the homework to ensure consistency in your dog’s learning and for the transfer of training from your trainer to you. We will return each week to teach you the next stages of previously learned behaviors and develop new ones. You will receive a new homework plan each week. You are welcome to text any questions or videos at any time between sessions and we will provide any training with videos or context in return.

Day Training - $200.00 per day, Typically for 2 to 3 weeks, excluding weekends

Your puppy is either picked up, or dropped off in the morning and either picked up or dropped off at the end of the day. There will be a $50 travel fee per day for dog guru to pick up and drop off. Your dog will have between 5-7 training sessions during the day. You will receive video of training sessions, so you have a practical reference for when you are implementing the behaviors in your home. At drop off, Your trainer will go over what your dog was learning that day and begin transferring the training to you and your home. They will give you a plan for your dog’s daily schedule for consistency and optimal retention. You are welcome to text any questions or videos at any time between sessions and we will provide any training with videos or context in return. Following the 2 weeks, Your trainer will come to your home as needed for 30-minute sessions ($75.00 per 30 minutes) to continue the generalization of training to the dog’s home environment.

Board and Train - $250 per day, Typically 2 to 3 weeks.

Your puppy receives more intensive training 24 hours a day. He or she will be immersed in a family pack and will be trained alongside your trainer's personal dogs with the same expectations. Scheduled visits are welcome and encouraged. Following the 2 weeks, we will come to your home weekly for 30-minute sessions (fee waived) for up to 5 visits to continue the generalization of training to the dog’s home environment. Trainers typically Board and Train one client dog at a time, so availability is limited.
